Everyone will tell you that it goes by too fast and you need to enjoy every moment while they’re this little. With two kids, I feel like time is going by faster. I feel like we’re always busy and on the go that I don’t realize how much time has gone by until I have a moment of relaxation (which is rare) and then it all sinks in. I still think about his delivery and feel like it just happened. I’m still getting used to life with two kids and trying to find balance and routine. Even though things can be crazy, I know I’m blessed with two amazing little boys.
Avery just had his two month check up and now weighs 11 lbs and 3 oz. He’s in size 1 diapers and wearing size 3 months clothes. He is already almost too long for the outfits with feet! Avery has been smiling for about a week now and is making cute cooing noises. He sleeps really well most nights, waking up only once or twice. He’s awake more during the day and loves to be on his play mat to wiggle and look at the toys above him or go on walks in the baby carrier. He is such a sweet and cuddly little guy.
Avery is getting so big and when he was first born I had a hard time thinking about how fast it will go because I don’t know if I want another baby or not. I wanted to make sure I could soak up all these newborn moments with him before they’re gone and really cherish them in case it’s the last time I get to experience it. I’ve really loved watching Mason get to know Avery. He is such a great big brother. He cares about him so much and always wants to be around him.
At only 2 months old, Avery has already been to the zoo and had two beach trips to different parts of the Oregon Coast. I can’t wait for all family adventures we’re going to go on in the future.
