Do you suffer from occasional heartburn, acid indigestion? I have really bad heartburn, especially since my first pregnancy and it’s always a lot worse during pregnancy. I have to take something for it everyday. I just recently discovered these Acidil Meltaway Tablets and I’m a big fan so far.

The meltaway tablets easily dissolve under your tongue, they’re not flavored, and they don’t require food or water which makes it easy to take it with you on the go. They’re made with plant-based ingredients which is another great reason why I love this product. There’s no artificial colors, sweeteners, or preservatives.

The Acidil Meltaway tablets:

  • Temporarily relieves occasional heartburn, acid indigestion, bloating or upset stomach.*
  • May be taken before or after a meal; on a full or empty stomach
  • Adults & Children ages 12+
  • No known drug interactions
  • Available in a box of 60 meltaway tablets – portable sleeves for work, home or on-the-go

The Acidil Meltaway tablets are made by Boiron and they have other plant based products for discomforts and illness. They’re all unflavored meltaway tablets which is nice. If you’re not feeling well, sometimes the flavors can make it worse so I like that this doesn’t have any flavor.

For me, acid indigestion/heartburn is worse with citrus foods or things like bagels and certain pizza doughs. One of my favorite comfort foods is cheeseburgers. A way to make burgers more heartburn friendly is to use a lettuce wrap instead of a bun and I buy the no salt added ketchup, because regular ketchup is really salty and sets off my heartburn too.

To make four burgers for my family I use:

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • shredded cheese
  • pepper
  • garlic salt

I mix all ingredients together and then form into four patties to grill. I top them with cheese. We always have sliced tomatoes, lettuce, and onion for everyone to use. I just use the no salt added ketchup because my favorite cheeseburgers are just topped with cheese and ketchup, sometimes grilled onions.

I love being able to have the Acidil meltaway tablets in my bag to take me with me incase we are going to eat something I know is a trigger and I can take a pill before hand or I have it ready just in case it’s needed later.

Acidil is available at Rite Aid, Sprouts, Whole Foods Market, Vitamin Shoppe, and Amazon. You can learn more about this product, their other products, and where to purchase at their website: Boironusa.com.
