I picked this beef sausage to try and I’m so glad I did. It’s a 4 foot rope of beef weighing 2 pounds. It’s beef seasoned with pepper inside a pork casing. At first, I didn’t know what I was going to do with the beef/how I would cook it. I decided to cook it on the grill. We cooked it on our Traeger for 40. minutes and turning once halfway through. Once it was done, my husband brought it inside and we sliced it up to try it. It tasted amazing. I was really surprised at how much flavor it had. It was really juicy, flavor, an delicious. We also cooked rice so then we used a pan to cook eggs and carrots and then mix in the rice, green onions, plum sauce, and sausage. It was so good. The kids ate it all too. We have another one of these sausages in the freezer and I can’t wait to thaw it and make something else. I’m thinking we could make pasta, jambalaya, gumbo, or something similar to that. This beef sausage really was amazing and different than any other sausage I’ve had before. We’ll be ordering more soon. #WelcomeSouthsideMarket
