It’s important to me that my kids get their vitamins. My toddler currently has three different vitamins he takes everyday. He’s really good at remembering and shows them to me if I haven’t already given him any. I didn’t know that there was fish oil for kids until I saw Kids Smart. They have up to 10x more fish oil than other kids supplements and they’re free of gluten, yeast, wheat, and dairy.

The chewable burstlets come in a variety of flavors such as berry, orange, strawberry, and blackcurrant. The directions say that you can chew the vitamin and outer shell dissolves or you can twist off the tail to squeeze the fish oil into your mouth or onto your child’s favorite food. I gave one to my son to chew and he and he didn’t finish it. It did smell a little strong to me personally so I’m sure it’s just a little different than the gummy vitamins he’s used too. I’m not sure if it was because of the taste or because of the different texture though. I tried giving it to him again by taking the tail off and putting the oil into a small amount of smoothie or food and he easily took it that way. In the above picture you can see how much oil is in one burstlet. I used a kids plastic spoon for reference. It’s not much at all when you’re putting it on something or mixing it into something.
