I was gifted this box to give my review. All opinions are my own.
I’ve been using essential oils for a couple of years now, but I’m still learning so much about them. I basically only use them in a diffuser and I use blends for breathing better, sleeping, and an energizing citrus blend. I’ve wanted to do more with them, but I always thought there was so much to get or too many steps.
I was so excited to get this subscription box and to see everything inside. When you order with Simply Earth, you get a bonus box with your first order and again every six months. The bonus box contained bottles for making blends, fractionated oils for making blends and applying to your skin, and a couple other useful items. The other box that comes inside is your regular monthly box. That box had four essential oils, recipe cards for things you can make with those specific ones, and some items you may need for them such as facial rounds and a spritzer bottle.
My husband said “It is amazing the difference a small change can make. The essential oils and the aromas they supply have done just that in our home. When there is chaos with the kids or stress with life, the amazing scents can change your mood and alter your day for the better! I especially like the mix of grapefruit and citrus for a nice, calming and soothing atmosphere!”
I was really excited to try out the recipes because this is exactly what I was having trouble with before, finding easy recipes and actually having the right supplies. This box came with scents and recipes for citrus things which is my favorite. I also really love that there is a great variety in the types of recipes they give you. There was instructions for a lip scrub, face mask, roll on blend, and more. I’m going to make the face mask soon, but I need to get cucumber first. I made the roll on blend which only used two of the oils and smells amazing. It was so quick and easy. The recipe cards tell you how much time it will take for each one which is also really nice.
When I took the oils out of the box, I quickly noticed the labels and how they had great information. On the back of each bottle, it tells you what ages that specific oil is safe for. This was huge for me and is a reason while I will continue to buy from this company. I struggled with knowing which oils were safe for my kids before and would usually just avoiding using any. People would tell me to use lavender on my kids to help with sleep or other things for breathing, etc. I would always have to look up what is safe for what age and this makes it so much easier and really easies my mind.
